Education: Brian holds a master’s degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from George Washington University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Professional Experience: Brian brings over 15 years of corporate finance and accounting experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. Most recently, Brian was Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Pendrick Healthcare Partners, a private equity-backed, data driven financial services firm that provided revenue cycle cash optimization solutions for healthcare providers. Before Pendrick, Brian spearheaded budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to power growth initiatives for Surescripts, one of the nation’s largest health information networks. At Surescripts, he was instrumental in building out processes and implementing tools to enable the company scale as it underwent a tenfold revenue increase during his tenure. In the past, Brian was also a mergers and acquisitions analyst at AOL, supporting their transition from an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to an online advertising and content-driven company.
Personal: Brian resides in Vienna, VA and is a big fan of college sports. He also enjoys biking, traveling, and coaching swimming as well as tending to his multiple African Cichlid aquariums.
